Exclusive Interview with Mr. Ndeh Angelbert

Mr. Nji Angelbert Nde the outgoing president of the University of Buea Law Society granted an interview with the team of ubstudents.com pertaining to the elections taking place today November 22 at the amphie 250.

Ubstudents.com: good day Mr. Nde and welcome to ubstudents.com

Mr. Ndeh: Good day is a pleasure.

Ubstudents.com: Yeah regarding the up coming elections of the Law Society schedule to take place in the days ahead, what are your aspirations or what have you put in place to make this year’s elections different from the previous once?

Mr. Ndeh: well what the outgoing regime as a whole is doing is first to set up a strong electoral committee that consist of all the students at the various levels of the departments, we have also put in place all the necessary logistics to make sure that these elections go on smoothly and without any problems.

Ubstudents.com: what are some of your achievements in the Law society bearing in mind that you were at the helm of management?

Mr. Ndeh: thanks a lot for that question as most of the students will want to know what we did so as to see some of our shortcomings, well we did a lot last year with the limited resources we had at our disposal, and we tried our possible best to see that we make proper allocations of every amount available. But notable we work specifically on the creation of a website for the Law society which the project is still in the process of completion.

Ubstudents.com: Mr. Ndeh, your regime is noted for gross embezzlement of student’s fund notable their departmental dues which out of the three thousand paid the Law society has a thousand FRS inside, this money which is specifically used to welcome the freshmen, most of them complained that after paying that, at the venue of the celebration they were asked to still pay an additional five hundred, is that very normal?

Mr. Ndeh: yeah it is some sort of a tradition because we did pay the same five hundred during our days in the 200 level so I think that answered or better still clarified the doubts of the students.

Ubstudents.com: talking about the creation of the website for the law society do u think it will be realized bearing in mind that the regime who started the project is making their way out?

Mr. Ndeh: yeah the project won’t die out since some members of the outgoing regime are still going in for some positions this year I think they will see in to it that the project is fully realized.

Ubstudents.com: Mr. Ndeh your last word.

Mr. Ndeh: yeah I will call on all the students to come out in their numbers and vote for I think its their fundamental right to choose those who will lead them. Please come out in your numbers and cast your vote for the person you think is best.

Ubstudents.com: thanks for calling around ubstudents.com

Mr. Ndeh you are welcome.
