Lucrative Form of Business

Due to the high demands of fabrics made from rusted irons in the country today, the population of Buea and its inhabitants have embarked on a serious search for this commodity. Individuals who thought their old rusted irons had no use are now found selling them to buyers. Who in turn sell the rusted irons to companies in charge of transforming it into useful fabrics such as pots, axes, “cutlass”, markers rods, and what have you.

The youths and holiday markers are not left out in this lucrative business. Students can be found wading in gutters with bags searching for a kilo of iron, which sells at a market price of 35frs. In a brief chat with one student seriously involved in the business, he disclosed to ubstudents.com, how this new market has enabled him to assist his parents when it comes to school needs and other financial matters.

It should be noted that both University students can still be involve in such business. Working and schooling has always been a dream to most of them but the million dollar question is what kind of job do they really want to be involved in? Blue collar jobs would be their answer but the irony is that some end up allocating too much time on their acquired jobs, therefore creating a deficit in study time. It was brought to knowledge that most University Students end up not receiving employment today not because they are not qualified but simple because of the lack of other skills different from what they acquire in school, they have no real life experience necessary for the job. Kwah Kennedy is a CISCO Certified Network Associate student in the University of Buea, but he buys rusted irons from petty traders puts them together and sells them to a company in Douala. He didn’t disclose to ubstudents.com how much profit he makes per sale but said, “if it was not lucrative you wouldn’t find me doing it”

Lets all put aside the flux of degrees and diplomas we have and get entrepreneurial experience even if it means working without earning a wage or salary, that is the way to go in today’s world.
Ask your self these few questions:
What are you good at besides studying
If Education should be wiped out today how would you survive
If your parents and everything around is lost how do your face the world
Take time, truthfully assess you options and come to a conclusion that will help you advance in the competitive job and business worlds of today
